Nun planen Electronic Arts und D.I.C.E auch First-Person-Shooter in die dritte Dimension zu bringen. Patrick Bach, der Senior Producer bei D.I.C.E, gab bekannt, dass fuer Battlefield Bad Company 2 ein Patch rauskommen soll, welches das Spiel in 3D umwandeln wird. Wann und fuer welche Plattform ist allerdings noch nicht bekannt. Man kann allerdings davon ausgehen, dass es sich um die PC und PS3 Version handeln wird.
